The door is laid out while each piece is had fitted

Each door is glued up with an industrial urea resin exterior glue ~ which I allow to cure for at least 72hrs

the entire door is oiled with 4 coats on my varnish oil which is allowed to cure for 3-4 days between coats

All of the Mahogany stops we submersed in my varnish oil 4 times

I have developed a process by which I sometimes resaw 1/4" thick "veneers" and vacuum press them onto old growth Redwood
this process takes 4-5 days
the panels are oiled with 4 coats on my varnish oil which is allowed to cure for 3-4 days between coats
The "thick veneer" process allows me to utilize fancy grained woods while insuring a stable solid Redwood panel.
