We made this door as a "self commission" and the I designed the sidelight an transom for this clients home.

After fitting and machining the sidelight is glued up
and all surfaces and joints are cleaned thoroughly

then wrapped
and placed in a vacuum press where they will stay for another 2 to 3 days ...... under vacuum ......... at 1750 lbs per sq. inch

and then oiled ..... 3-4 times with our varnish oil
