The are Vertical Grain Old Growth Redwood,
in Douglas Fir jambs.
They have bookmatched Curly Redwood Panels.

The interior doors have a natural satin finish.

These Beautiful Palms Interior Doors have booked matched panels. With striking design in the wood grain.

The tight grain in The Old Growth Redwood makes for a stunning look.

He looks at every inch of each stick of lumber.

Making sure it has just the right quality that is required for his taste.

For a few days we had stacks of wood standing up everywhere.

Just lovely to behold. Each piece of wood has it's own Beauty to Behold. A true work of art from nature.

Looks like the process to shape and cut has begun.

They will sit for 72 hours before they will be ready to sand.

More panel stock. Brian has spent years collecting just the right Old Growth Redwood with tight grain and the different beautiful character that each piece has.

Heels and mid rails are being cut and gathered for the interior doors.

Salvaged Redwood is a rare find and a special treat for those who have a love for the Beauty that it holds.

The hand sanding process will take many hours for this project.

Many doors will to be hand sanded and each one will get the same amount of attention.

The panels are out of the press and are being cleaned up of any access glue.

Once the oil hits the panels the curl in the wood really stands out.

All our door's, panels, jambs, carvings, etc. are oiled under the Redwood Canopy.

Matching up the stop stock is just as important as matching up the wood for the panels or the door.

Raise applied molding was used in these.
