Here one of two doors I call "The Osprey" I am currently offering it For Sale One door is made of Golden California Oak and the other door, when completed, is Old Growth Redwood This Osprey is made of quarter-sawn California Golden Oak The panels are bookmatched curly Old Growth Redwood The glass is solar-cool bronze and appears as a gold mirror glass is sunlight The glass units are tempered and thermal The "eyebrow" is bent laminated Golden Oak

Here is how this door was made !!

Here is the Golden Oak door ..... ready to glue up.	One more rail and tenons for the Oak door !!	Here is he Oak door set in clamps	The doors will stay clamped for at least 3 days before removing he clamps

A sample of the glue is left in the tub to make sure it has cured properly	The long process of finishing begins	Here is the Oak door ...... just out of clamps	Here is the Cal Oak Door with one coat of oil
ah.... here is the bent lamination for the "wings" that are in clamps	Here is a close up of the "eyebrow" before it is glued to the door	the eyebrow ....	...... suspended off the doors surface
Here are the figured Redwood and Oyster Shell Mahogany panels	here the panels, for both doors, are curing between 4 coats of my varnish-oil	here ...... the last coat of varnish-oil is applied and "soaking" ....... check out the beautiful grain !!	Here is the mockup of the "wings" or eyebrow that will be added
