This beautiful door is called The Indian Creek Entry It is made of Old Growth VG Redwood with a Curly Redwood Panel It is 36" X 84" X 1-3/4" The insulated art glass is Spectrum Granite

Here is a close-up of the Granite glass				These Curly Redwood Panels are bookmatched on both sides of the door
		I've not seen a much prettier version of Curly Redwood
	Below is the provenance of the making of this beautiful door
this is my clients rendition of his "dream door"		This is my version with a smaller set of windows		Ta-Da!

This is a scan of the end grain of the wood used in the making of this door				BUT FIRST! We had to make a form to make that arched top jamb
5 thin pieces of Mahogany are glued and clamped to the shape of the form		It stays in clamps for 5 days till the glue is completely cured. This helps give the piece a minimum "spring back"		ready to have a look at our jamb head stock
Here one of my grandson's, Sully, approval of the jamb top		here are the layers that were glued together. All of the pieces came from the same board		Now we can start on the door. Here are the pieces used to make this beautiful door.

				here is the Spectrum Granite glass in an insulated and tempered unit.
Ready for its' first (of four) coats of our varnish-oil		It brings the wood alive
it will cure at least 3 days between coats of varnish-oil		Now we are fitting the door to the jamb		........ yes! ......... we prehang doors
		and yet ........ another coat
